“With respect to the beautiful cast, writers, and crew, we have been grateful and thrilled for the chance to come back to Doom Manor. And we have been thankful for the partners at Berlanti Productions especially, Warner Bros. Television, DC Universe and, needless to say, HBO Max,” said executive producer Jeremy Carver.

“’Doom Patrol’ found HBO Max having an already deep and passionate group of fans and has increased to the top among the most watched Max Originals on the platform,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max. “The series sits well inside our portfolio and we have been glad to greenlight a third season to keep this distinctive design of storytelling that resonates so well with critics and fans alike.”

In Season 2, DC’s strangest band of heroes – Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) – are back to save the planet. That is, if they will get a method to grow up…both and literally figuratively. Following defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now end up stranded and mini-sized on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here linked with emotions . cope with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka THE PRINCIPLE (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their very own personal baggage. So when each known member faces the task of growing beyond their very own past traumatic experiences, they must get together to embrace and protect the most recent relation: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the ultimate end of the planet.

Part support group, part superhero team, the Doom Patrol is really a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a global that wants nothing in connection with them. Picking right up following the events of Titans, Doom Patrol will see these reluctant heroes in a location they never likely to be, called to action by the one and only Cyborg, who involves them with a mission hard to refuse, but with warning that’s hard to ignore: their lives won’t, be the same ever.

Doom Patrol stars Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Matt Bomer as Negative Man, Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder/The Chief, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Alan and Jane Tudyk as Mr. Nobody.

The series is compiled by Supernatural‘s Jeremy Carver and is executive made by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter. Berlanti, a master of superhero Television shows, has helmed series including All American, Arrow, Black Lightning, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Riverdale, Supergirl, Blindspot, God Friended Me, The Red Line, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, You, and Titans.

The first two seasons can be found to stream on HBO Max and DC Universe now.
