HBO announced casting for Game of Thrones prequel, “House of the Dragon”

The project “House of the Dragon”will tell about the world of the Kingdom of Westeros several centuries before the events of the original series.

The HBO Studios announced casting for the”Game of thrones” prequel series. Recall that the story of the new project will take place long before the events of the main series, and the plot will be dedicated to the house of Targaryen, whose members are able to control dragons. According to Entertainment Weekly, the search is currently underway for actors to play the roles of Alicent Hightower and Rainira Targaryen.

The latter was the heir to the iron throne, and was to become the first Queen of Westeros. And, of course, she had a personal dragon with her. For the role of a strong girl, they are looking for an actress aged 25 to 30 years. Alicent Hightower is the stepmother of Rhaenyra, who wants to see her own son on the throne, which is why the war called “Dance of the dragons” began.
