PETS vs COVID: The immune system of pet owners better resists the attack of the COVID-19

Pet owners, in particular, owners of cats and dogs, in most cases more easily or completely asymptomatically undergo the COVID-19 coronavirus. This statement was made by the Polish doctor Sabina Alex-Condor, who works in one of the clinics in Madrid.

The expert’s opinion is based on observation of a group of 100 patients infected with coronavirus, GlosWielkopolski reports. The doctor suggested that due to constant contact with fur, saliva, and the need to clean up the feces of Pets, the immune system of their owners is more resistant to various pathogens. Thanks to Pets, the immune system of their owners is stronger and more resilient.
